The Student Society Advisors support student in one of four areas: National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, or Career and Technical Student Organization. Applicants to this position should specify in which society they would prefer to act as advisor.This is an internal position with California Virtual Academies (a network of 9 public charter schools)You must be a current staff member hired by CAVA @ Fresno, CAVA @ Kings, CAVA @ Maricopa, CAVA @ Los Angeles, CAVA @ San Diego, CAVA @ San Joaquin, CAVA @ San Mateo, CAVA @ Sonoma, CAVA @ SutterAugust/September Monthly Password To ApplyHOURS AND SALARY INFORMATION:Advisors will track monthly service hours and hold members accountable for meeting the required hours.This is a stipend position per the CBA.We do participate in CalSTRS. EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:• Permanent California residency• Strong organizational skills • Detail oriented • Able to balance and complete multiple projects • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team • Proficient with student record processes • Experience in working with the middle or high school program.REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/CERTIFICATION:(All applicants MUST have the following at the time of applying) Must hold a valid Clear California Teaching Credential California English Learner Authorization
