was honestly a little distracted by the sadness of flying home from visiting my girlfriend as i was watching it, but still enjoyed this! nate has my favorite type of comedian rhythm, which is that very relaxed, deadpan style i started loving hannibal buress for

Okay, this was really enjoyable to watch. In Nate's comedy, it takes a while before it starts to hit the laughing nerves, but when that moment hits, like in this special. He's one of the funniest comedians to listen and watch. especially if you are in right mood.
If you can get something out of him and his personality, he seems very humble and a fun guy to be around. Somehow, his whole being is funny, which is really important for a stand-up comedian, because he could say almost anything and it would make me laugh.
The jokes are good and a few are a bit weak, but the way he brings out his own stories is really entertaining material. With this essence, he creates his own trademark comedy.
Deadpan delivery king🫅

His most recent special recently coming out got me to finally see this one. It was really cute having his daughter introduce him onto the stage. Not gonna lie though, the way his last name is pronounced sounds a lot like Yahtzee. Feels like a missed opportunity to not incorporate that into his act lol.
The jokes and the topics were pretty funny but the delivery was a little too dry/deadpan for my taste. I can definitely see the appeal of that style though.
And for what it’s worth, I also thought horses sleep standing up prior to this.I paused this to watch Burgatze’s episode of The Standupsso that I could appreciate the updates he gave in this special.…

I think I cracked the code on Nate Bargatze's entire clean comedy style. He's a great comic, but almost every bit is centered around a miscommunication or a misunderstanding. There I said it.

I had never heard of Nate before, after this he’s in my top favorite of all time. This is some seriously funny delivery. His jokes are honest and hilarious, he is effortlessly funny. Being from Wilmington,N.C. The serpentarium stuff is a million times funnier because yes, I have been there. I am now going back and getting my hands on everything he’s done.
